Richard Martin Byakuleka, President and CEO

Martin is a partnerships and international development professional with experience in developing countries. He is a former diplomat, nonprofit manager, and international development consultant.

He has more than 25 years of experience in corporate, foundation, and bilateral and multilateral donor coordination and management. He has profound background knowledge of poverty alleviation, international health intervention, refugees, environment, democratization, and international development. He is dedicated to assisting youth living with HIV/AIDS in developing countries.

William holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Boston University. He graduated summa cum laude and with honors from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing. He also holds a Master of Science (MSM) in Operations Management from Albertus Magnus College.

William is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a recognized international project management body. He speaks Swahili and Afrikaans. William has advised international organizations and governmental institutions. He used international project management tools and policies to support their development programs and operations.

Musisi Robert Sembajjwe, Country Director, Uganda

Robert has extensive experience in portfolio management, including financial and program management. He also works as a director at Incwright Limited where he manages all financial aspects of the company, including payroll, risk management, invoicing, tax filing, and credit control processes.

He is a Certified Management Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in corporate financial management at different levels. Robert holds an MBA in Finance from Howard University.

He is a certified tax specialist. Robert is involved in financial management of several private construction investments (commercial and residential), from the inception to turnkey phase. All these projects run a portfolio of over $500,000 (USD) to $2,000,000 (USD).

Robert is also Vice President for Finance at the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations. The federation is in charge of all basketball-related activities and events. The federation runs three national and annual club leagues or championships, involving over 65 basketball teams.

Abdirazak Osman Sabtow, Country Director, Somalia

Osman is a vastly experienced international social worker with particular experience in the Horn of Africa operations. He was educated in Somalia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Osman is dedicated to uplifting the plight of the Somalian youth.

Michael Senyonjo Muyanja, Senior Program Manager

Michael is a highly skilled manager of social programs, having worked with various organizations involved in implementing preventive action in fields, including HIV, tuberculosis, and infant mortality, among others.

Michael has more than 20 years of experience working in the United Kingdom and developing countries. He has managed a plethora of nationwide programs that help people to organize into groups aimed at achieving desirable social end goals.

He holds a BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda and a Master of Science in Innovation and Creativity at the University of Greenwich in the UK. His biggest strength is the ability to conjure new, unique, and cost-effective solutions to social problems in low-income settings.

Sara Samson Kini, Executive Manager

Sara is one of our founding partners and an early education expert who transitioned to nursing and home health care. She is social network-savvy and gifted with immense capabilities. Today, Sara helps coordinate activities amongst staff in our diverse offices and amongst our partners and staff.
